Planning for a Mac

I payed my $250 deposit to the school on Friday, so I am now officially enrolled in the study away program for London.

The next step is getting a Mac powerbook and the Adobe Creative Suite. Actually, I would be getting that regardless of this internship, but I just got off the phone with my dad discussing this.

I might go buy one tonight, because the current special ends tomorrow night. If I order a computer today, I can get the special, and I get one year to pay it off without interest. Then I would have the creative suite at my disposal, whenever I need it. That will be nice.

That's all for now. More preparation plans coming later.

An Introduction of Sorts

I have been planning since September of this year to study away in London for Spring 2010. The plan has been to take a graphic design internship in London, and to take three courses.

A week ago, I got my application for the program turned in, and the following Monday I received my acceptance in the course. I had ten days to confirm my place in the course with a $250 deposit.

Today is pay day through the university, and so I plan on going to the Wang Center today to pay my deposit and make it official. I will be heading off to London in February 2010!

Hillary, the general manager for KCCR (the student radio station), will also be in London for Spring Semester, studying at Westminster University. It's nice to know that I will know somebody else in that big ol' city over there!

The next step is to begin planning for my trip...which currently means paying off my credit card bill from my J-Term in Europe, so that I can begin saving money!

I'll keep everyone updated through this blog. I don't know yet where I'll be doing my internship or what classes I'll be taking, so I will post that information as I find out.

That's all for now!
